This is a sophisticated novel, that’s full of heart.

Robin Lear is the ultimate material girl, gorgeous and rich, with a glamorous lifestyle (and plenty of shoes). Spoilt and even a little snobbish, but lovable all the same.
When she finds out her father is dying, her attitudes and entire life begin to change…

Jake Manning is renovating Robin’s house, he is down to earth and incredibly good looking. His income is a lot different to hers; he survives from job to job. He knows nothing of fancy restaurants and yachts, but has plenty to offer.

Since their first meeting, they go on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, which is entertaining and heartfelt.

I adored the characters in the book; they all bring it together to create a funny, uplifting and crazily romantic novel. It is really well written, and it is no surprise that Julia London is a best selling author.
